Product Description

There is much debate over the origins of skipping. It may have originally been invented in Ancient Greece and evolved into playing with a rope. Eventually, it probably came to the UK by sailors discovering the game in other parts of the world during the 17th century. It was most likely originally played by boys. It was certainly a popular playground game amongst school children during Victorian times and has remained so ever since.

Standard EARRINGS supplied with silver plated fish-hook ear wires and rubber stops.
