Product Description

When Henry VII became King of England in 1485 England had been in turmoil due to what was known as the War of the Roses. The Red Rose of Lancaster and the White Rose of York were combined when Henry married Elizabeth of York a year later, in a bid to end the turmoil that had existed for many years. The Tudor Rose became the symbol of the two families uniting.
